I am a new start up, am i eligible ?

Is 100% foreign company eligible for grant ?
There are some grants in singapore that requires 30% local shareholders, however we do have a few other grants by other government agencies that may be suitable for you.
What is consider a SME ?
SMEs are now defined as companies with: (i) at least 30% local shareholding; AND. (ii) Group annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million OR Group employment size of not more than 200 employees.
Is tech start up eligible for funding ?
We will advise you to visit startup sg and talk with their officer instead, development cost of POV and POC funding is not part of our company expertise.
Can i purchase equipment from oversea vendors ?
Yes, but You are required to submit 3 quotation from 3 different vendor for your grant application and there must be a good justification reason on the selection of the oversea vendor .
Can i apply for grant for my equipment has been purchase ?
No, you are not allowed to purchase equipment first and claim for a grant later. Do speak with our consultant to run through the timeline and scenario.
